its still just common sense…. its like everything other advertisement, nothing in life is free unless they hand it to u like a friggin sample or something and if u would have read the front page it says in bold letters under the person on the page MUST CANCEL BEFORE FREE TRIAL IS UP. True it does say u need the card to establish an acct but u need to take a step back and ask gee i wonder y they need the card?

When you sign up for freecreditreport there is a note that tells you that you are automatically enroll in advantaged Credit Monitoring. You get a FREE TRAIL for 30 days. So If you do not want to get charged a month then Call freecreditreport and cancel it right away after receiving your free credit report. And that asian lady was so out of line with the way she talk to that representative.

I also got ripped off. Experian charged my Visa $14.95 for 4 months before I even noticed, then refused to refund the money. This was outright fraud, since I never provided my credit card number to them nor authorized this service. I reported this act to both the U.S. FTC, the BBB and also the FBI Cybercrimes division and I encourage everyone here to do the same.

They say it its for free because you have unlimited access on your Credit Report if you take advantage with the triple advantage…

I was duped into it as well. I was cautious when they asked for credit card number but right underneath it it said its only needed to establish an account. They never mentioned any service they are enrolling me into. Motherfuckers.
