U.S. retail sales rose 0th 7% for the first Week in February compared to January. Redbook Research Index rise compared with a targeted 0th to increase 5%.
The Johnson Redbook Index showed seasonally adjusted sales during the one-week period was first 7% compared to February 2008 and compared with a targeted drops first 9%. On an adjusted basis, sales in the week ending 7 February 1st down 7% compared to a year earlier.
