PPL say that poor should get an education and get a job idk I do respect your opinion, but while having a college degree is certainly helpful, it doesn’t guarantee anything in this economy. My grandfather has a bachelors in engineering, laid off. He took a minimum wage job to survive ($8 hr + benefits). There are many kids out of college with degrees struggling to find a job, let alone decent jobs with benefits. It’s not just democrats or lazy freeloaders a wide range of people are hurting.

JESUS would want every American to have health insurance, illness treated, sick people not be discriminated against, & not be bankrupt by lack of health care. JESUS would also say the MONEY IS WELL SPEND on SAVING LIVES. JESUS wouldn’t approve calling Black, N word, Gay, F word, & Mexican, W word or throwing bricks at Congressmens office because of political disagreement. JESUS wouldnt approve calling up Congressmen to leave death threats.

WE NEED HEALTH CARE REFORM!
The United Nations ranks the USA #38 in life expectancy. We are also ranked #33 in lowest infant mortality. Most, if not all, of the countries ahead of us have “evil” socialized health care. Some of the nations that beat us include Cuba, UK, Belgium, Canada, France, Israel, Austrailia, and Switzerland. We are #1 in one category though–the amount we spend on health care. My only complaint about heath care reform is that it didn’t go nearly far enough. !

hmm… the government now insists i buy a service I personally choose not to purchase. i will be forced to spend money or face fines or even imprisonment.
THAT IS A RIGHT?!!!
if health care is a RIGHT then I cannot be denied any care i ask for at any time for any reason. do you believe that is what obamacare is offering us?
If it was such a great plan, how come congress and the president won’t accept that program for themselves?
buy k-y jelly. your asshole is gonna need it!

here’s the criteria for the government “right” to healthcare…
1) do you vote for “big government”?
2)will you eventually pay more in taxes than your government “right” to healthcare will cost?
It won’t matter how sick you are, it won’t matter if you can be cured. you BETTER vote for big government, and you better pay rapacious taxes!
if you don’t…you have the “right” to die a very slow and painful death.

why is it liberals never smile?
they are fucking ANGRY dispicable people.
look at these guys…they have more money than 99% of our citizens but they are not, and never will be satisfied.
The liberal definition of “rich”…anyone with one dollar more than them! remember ted kennedy bitchin’ on the “rich”? he was worth multi-millions, but he obviously felt oppressed because someone had a little more than him.
fuck these assholes. punish the rich? TAKE THEIR MONEY!!!

The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.

@sueells Your first point is flatly false.
Your second point is irrelevant, given the astronomical cost shifts of the last few years and the next few as well.
This is basically a “lesser of two evils” argument, and believe me, the democratic bill is a steaming pile of mediocrity and least-common denominator economics. “Oh the evil industry and the poor excluded townfolk!” Well I got news, they are excluded because of the costs of the unhealthy, not because of some corporate conspiracy.
