Can I cook a small pot over a wood fire for the site?

I have a Weber grill baby and you want certain things in a saucepan to a boil. Is this possible? Or the pan is not hot enough? Or other ideas? I gotta go time and money by buying a portable stove limited.

Sure, but you’ll have to cook it a pretty long time as pans are pretty tough.

Sure that will work fine, I camp all the time and always cook up things like beans or corn on the cobin a pot or pan on the bbq. It gets plenty hot enough.

The Baby Weber will work just fine. In fact it will work better than anopen fire at heating/cooking anything in a pot. It gets just as hot but you won’t wind up with a bunch of black soot on your pan bottom that you will have to take off with steel wool. If you already have the BBQ and charcoal and charcoal lighter there is absolutely no reason to invest any money in a propane cooking store……I have done this myself camping many times. You don’t have to worry about creating a forest fire either since the fire is in the BBQ and not on the ground where it could possibly spread! Good Luck and have FUN!
