What are some good colleges in Florida for Education?
I currently attend Xavier University in Ohio but I have to transfer to Florida because my parents moved. I’m an education major and am trying to research schools but I am only getting like two or three. So I’m hoping that maybe someone who is around the Orlando area can give me a list of some good colleges for my major or a website. Thank you

Florida State, Flagler (private, and very pretty), University of Florida, Rollins, Eckerd, University of Miami, University of Tampa, Florida Atlantic, University of Central Florida, University of North Florida… I’m not sure about how great all of them are but you can definitely check those websites!

The list in the first answer is very good. I have a suggestion, you being from Xavier:
The Florida Legislature has created a school for really bright students. It is located in Sarasota and is called The New College of Florida. They have one of the highest placement rates into top graduate programs of any liberal arts college in the US.
They do not have education as a major – like many people, the graduate from NCF would take the State’s nighttime and weekend teacher qualification program to get certification.
