It is never a great idea to use cash advances for any reasons.

If you're planning to pay for anything via credit card, why not pay for it by swiping them or by charging them online? Cash advances apply a higher/very high APR as opposed to purchase APR. I am pretty sure, most avenues where you pay up student loans accept major credit cards. Go swipe them or equavalent online. Then, you know the drill.(i-e: making payments & settling debts fast)

Declaring for bankruptcy is not easy.

you dont have to do that, it's even worse, the first thing court will ask is that if you have ANY TYPE of CASH ADVANCES FROM CC's, if you like they will know based on your credit report and monthly payment before it went on default compared to a few months before the cash advances. Instead why you don't ask your bank to send you CHECKS and pay them off with your check? OR call them to do a credit card balance and pay off an account. Call the bank they might even offer you better rates, make it credible before you try to do fraud.
