Many businesses want to expand but lack resources, study finds
The inability of business owners to get loans inhibits growth and hiring, a Pepperdine University professor says after surveying 559 businesses and 1,430 lenders and investors. An overwhelming majority of business owners say they have plans to expand their companies, but relatively few have the capital to do it, according to a new study.
