Just be careful to read the fine print and don't get one of the credit cards that has a wacky set of fees! I got an "offer" from a certain credit card company (NOT Capital One, may I add) that had a set-up fee, a yearly membership fee, a monthly fee, and if I closed the account but had a balance remaining, then I would have had to pay a "maintenance" fee or something similar until I got the balance down to zero! And the interest rate was close to 24 per cent! NO THANK YOU! So when a Capital One offer came in with a very good offer, I took it. My experiences may be different from yours.
