WinXP as host OS, running Ubuntu on virtualbox how do i connect my wireless card so that the linux OS can use.?
Question : WinXP as host OS, running Ubuntu on virtualbox how do i connect my wireless card so that the linux OS can use.?
First off the stats for the host rig:
Windows XP Pro SP2
AMD Dual Core 4200+
4GB DDR2
7600GS
Okay down to the problem, for various reasons i keep Ubuntu on a VirtualBox environment on the above PC. Recently i came across an article that would allow me to “audit” the strength of my wireless network security. I thought i’d give it a go, however, i’ve hit a snag i’m trying to get my virtualised Ubuntu to be able to utilize my USB wireless network dongle. But of course i can’t get it to work. Does anyone have any idea how to rectify the problem?
Thanx in Advance

Ndiswrapper option if your card is unsupported

The above links include tutorials and Troubleshooting and although you say you have tried it I have included Ndiswrapper.
