May I know what actually is credit card debit relief????

For the most part, those ads you see on TV are a farce. They typically hold your money while taking their cut, don’t pay your creditors, and after your credit is trashed, try to work out a settlement. But nothing obligates creditors to accept that, so some may still sue you for the full amount plus interest and court costs, and if they do get a judgment, it lasts longer with more muscle (liens, garnishments, etc.).

I am not familiar with the non-profit credit counseling organizations, but if they can get you a lower interest rate, that would be a much better deal for your credit record than trying to skip out on your debts.
