The College for Financial Planning has a master’s degree in it. It is the cheapest plan I know of……first you can get your financial planning certificate and if you complete that I think they give you 4 or 5 classes toward a master’s. If you have a bachelors’ degree you can study for the CFA (chartered financial analyst) designation. If you go to their website they list places that sponsor the classes to pass the 3 exams. If you don’t have a bachelor degree I suggest you get one with an accounting/finance emphasis. Cheapest way is two years at a junior college followed by the last two years at your state university. If you get all As at the junior college you could also apply at some private universities where they have big endowments such as Texas Christian or Emory or Wake Forest and they can pay your last two years in full whereas the state schools are more likely to give you loans. Good luck.
