Question : What does Oracle database agreement mean?
“Upon 45 days written notice Oracle may audit the use of the program. You agree to cooperate with Oracle’s audit and provide reasonable assistance and access to information. You agree that Oracle shall not be responsible for any of your costs incurred in cooperating with the audit.”

(This was in the FREE version Oracle Database 10g Express Edition)
*What exactly does this mean, and isnt the use of the program suppose to be free?

It just means they have full rights over whether they let you keep it or not. They can take it back whenever. They’re not going to charge you. Unless you do something illegal with Oracle. Then, they will probably charge you.
