I want to buy a dominos pizza tonight and my friend was wondering whether they accept credit cards at the door when they give you the pizza or do you have to pay in coins and notes.

in the u.s they do but idk about the uk, why dont you call and ask them?
when you make your order tell the order taker you will be paying by a credit card assuming you will have your order delivered into your house then you will have to give them your cc# on the phone and it will be charged right away and your order will be on the way! still in doubt? call dominos pizza local no. and verify with them.
