I get mine from progressive.com. I shopped at a number of different places and progressive was the cheapest for me. The only other place I can think off that has MC insurance is Geico, however I know there are a couple others. Suggest you try looking in an MC magazine, they all advertise in them.
I have a Harley Davidson and my insurance runs about $ 230 year, I only carry coverage 9 months of the year though – I live in the northeast, where its to cold to ride from December through March.
I’m sure a scooter would be much cheaper.
I used foremost last year. This year I switched to progressive. Full coverage $ 25 ded. $ 249 for the year on an 03 Sv 650. The gecko wanted over $ 500. The best insurance is whoever gives you good coverage at a decent price. If you already have a vehicle with state farm you might try them. Or you could try Sentry, they often advertise in Moto mags.
