New Enforcement Audit Process,Does It Help Stop The Employment of Illegal Aliens In The US?
Question : New Enforcement Audit Process,Does It Help Stop The Employment of Illegal Aliens In The US?
The Administration’s shift to auditing businesses suspected of hiring illegal aliens has recently caused the dismissal of thousands of workers who could not provide proof of residence. However, while this new process has been successful on the surface, it does very little to address the millions of illegal aliens in this country or discourage the thousands who cross our borders illegally every month.
This also does nothing to address the millions of people in the country illegally who have an incentive to remain here as long as possible in the hopes of eventually winning amnesty. As long as that’s on the table, they will stick it out because there’s a good chance of being rewarded
Richard Dayoub, president and CEO of the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, said, “They (ICE) are really taking an effort by their part to understand the depth of the problem. I’m not sure what they will accomplish.”
At the same time, the Homeland Security Department announced it would give a seal of approval to businesses volunteering to use an electronic program to check workers’ immigration status.
The Border Network for Human Rights said in its statement that it “hopes that the Obama administration will rethink this outdated strategy and keep his campaign promise to implement comprehensive immigration reform.”
The last nationwide audit conducted by ICE resulted in 14,000 suspicious documents.
What do you think ?
Should all employers be required by law to Audit their own companies ?
Should they be required by law to use E-verify?
Do you think the illegal aliens should be able to work legally in this nation?
Great answer Myth
And yes I know there are many other illegal aliens in the USA but there are more coming from Mexico than from any other country.

no,they are still pulling the pud….
Do you know the one of the biggest sources of Mexico’s GNP is? It’s money sent home by all of the illegals who crawled up here.
Yes, making it harder to get a job will help, but it’s not the only solution that should be implemented. We have to make it harder for them to get here in the first place, and a fence along the border would go a long way towards that.
If you think fences are a bad idea, then why don’t you go outside and cut down the fence between you and your neighbor. I’m not talking a chain-link fence, here. I’m talking a 15 foot tall structure with barbed wire all over it, followed by another 15 foot tall thing with more barbed wire all over it that extends into the ground for about 25 feet, so they can’t tunnel under it.
Another deterrent would be to make all of those here illegally go to the back of the line, and apply for citizenship just like everyone else has to. The fact that they’ve been here for X amount of years already is a NON ISSUE. If the illegals that are here are made to go through the same channels as those who are here legally, it would send a message to anyone hoping to come here illegally what they have to look forward to.
To answer your questions:
YES, companies should be required to audit and verify.
NO, anyone here illegally does not have the right to a job, or a driver’s license, or health care (other than that in case of emergency), or the ability to vote in any election EVER. Additionally, children of illegals should NOT be made American citizens upon their birth.
Whenever I see the words “Human Rights” attched to a company that is helping illegals, it makes me want to pinch someone’s head off. You want human rights, how about me, the American Citizen, having access to an emergency room, and having access to the exact same benefits that the illegal gets, huh? HOW ABOUT THAT!?!?!?!
This is not racism. This is preservation of a country that’s been overrun by people who take from us without asking, and then have the audacity to fly their flag above ours, and/or put MY flag upside down. Try demanding health care and a driver’s license for anyone in Mexico illegally, and they’ll laugh at you. We have become a laughingstock, and it’s really just sad.
This is one reporter’s opinion.
