Start with the pressing matters– like package costs. Many companies offer different pricing costs and scheme so watch out for this one. You should also consider the card equipments that your credit card processing company will furnish your business. Make sure they are in good working order. Check for frayed, chipped, or broken cords. These are sure signs of old or obsolete equipments. Settle only with new devices.

FREE training for you and all your employees.
Length of time you are paid in your account.Also beware on websites that do not post their discount rates and transaction fees.And no phone numbers to call them. This is because they give different people different quotes, and don’t want people to call the company.Very sneaky companies do that. I have done tons of research on this.
Read ALL contracts before you sign them.Protect you and your business.Don’t just go by what someone tells you. Because there are too many people out there that tell you one thing and then you sign with them.Later to find out everything they said was not true at all. So be carefull! Take your time, don’t be fooled or taken advantage of.

First of all, check if a selected credit company supports your business from your location. You may visit your local bank and negotiate POS terminal for your store. I think it will be the best option for you.
To run an Internet business you must get an Internet merchant account firstly. Usually the credit card company will assist you in it.
Then get all fees you will have to pay for the Internet terminal and you may compare them with other Internet credit card companies.
Then you must decide how you will process transactions on the
Internet: you may do it online and automate whole ordering process or just collect credit card info and process it via so called virtual terminal (it looks like you process credit card in real POS terminal).
Then the credit card company must educate you how to detect and prevent credit cards fraud. If you don’t it, you can lose your merchant account and be listed in Terminate Merchants File. It means a process to get a merchant account again will be for you too complicated. -

There are many things to look for…
First off, you need to have a company you comfortable with and can trust. Make sure the sales man is straight up with you in terms of all costs, and that includes the Mid, non, annual, monthly minimum, batch fee, and many other fees that companies just tend to slip in there.
Also, make sure they have a good 24/7 customer service just in case anything would happen. Many companies aren’t suited for both retail/internet so make sure you can get a company to set up both of these for you. I guess in the end, it really boils down to the reliability. Of course, fees matter too. But saving on nickels and dimes won’t amount to much compared to the losses that you might incur with an unreliable credit card processing company.
