Question : I’m about to sign up for Paypal’s virtual terminal service to accept cc payments in-person. Any advice?
Is it a hassle to get your money and are there cheaper alternatives?

I’ve used Paypal VT through Paypal Pro for a few years and love it. You withdraw money the same as regular Paypal funds, 2 clicks and a couple of days later it’s in the bank.

I also haven’t found any cheaper – some claim to be but add in the extras and they work out more. Or there service was terrible.

Only downside with VT is you don’t get the extra protection from chargebacks that Paypal gives to regular payments – you have to prove your case if someone files, but out of thousands of transactions, I’ve only ever had 2 claims and I won both of them.
