It depends on how old you are (how much of a credit history you have). You can try these sites for free, and if your history is not complete, then you might try a monitoring agency. equifax.com; or http://www.annualcreditreport.com/

You can visit http://www.annualcreditreport.com , where you can get your free credit report, but not credit scores. Credit scores are available as an add-on feature of the report, for a fee. This central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
