Can I use my Woodforest Debit Mastercard in Montreal Canada?
Question : Can I use my Woodforest Debit Mastercard in Montreal Canada?
I know Canadian Atm’s usually accept Cirrus and Plus cards from around the world. But my Woodforest debit card on the back only has the mastercard and pulse logo on the back. I looked up pulse and it is not helping me find out if this is accepted in Canada.

I would call you Bank just to make sure.
Yes, you can.
Pulse is not accepted in Canada (only the US) but Mastercard is a network in and of itself, and therefore the card will be accepted at any ATM with the Mastercard logo. Otherwise, you can use it for purchases as a credit card at any retailer that accepts MC.

Whether the funds will come out of your debit account or credit account is anyone’s guess, but I suspect it would be likely to come out of your credit account (in which case withdrawing cash may incur cash advance fees).
Canada doesn’t use the same system, so asking in the Montreal community is unlikely to get you a straight answer. The best thing to do is to call your bank and ask them. Don’t forget to notify them that you’re traveling as well so that they dont’ block your card.
