Question : I am designing a webpage and the customer is a wholesale fish market, they need a way for customers to order?
or rather request products to be delivered and ordered. Most of the accounts are on terms with the fish market, so a payment processing sys in not required. Is there any software which would be better to do this or should i just use a simple emailable form with product listings in a drop down box?
any ideas suggestions +++
Yeh i dont think some people read the question correctly, I said AT THIS TIME i DO NOT need payment processing. and your right that would rule out paypal. but if i did, i would prolly use it since its cheapest….

You’ll want a modified version of a shopping cart. You’ll either want to build one (I’ve linked to a tutorial for doing this), or purchase one. I think Google has an application for sale like this.

you should just do those e-mail forms you were taking about. Some hosting companies offer things like that, im not sure exactly who, but if im not mistaken, PayPal REQUIRES a credit card/ money information, so that wouldnt work. If you google “email form hosting” there will be a lot of good results.

It sounds like you just need a form and a way to process the input from the form. Is the site on a Windows or Unix server?
Form processing is often built into the hosting package – check there first. Or this formmail script has been around for years.
