I love Penn Foster College. I’m working towards my Associate Degree in Paralegal studies and then I will take the National exam!

I’m interested in aquiring an electrical and electronic engineering degree. I hear about 4 to 5 year degrees. Does Penn Foster University have 18 month online degrees?

This is a valid institution. Go to the Department of Education site and search for it. Is is listed and has a recognized accredited institution. Do a little research.

I’m soooo…. confused! I want to enroll in “PC Maintenance & Repair”, but at what school, is the problem. Should I go with ASHWORTH COLEGE or PENN FOSTER? I’ve read reviews on both, and I’d have to give the edge to PF. Although the course outline at Ashworth looks more indepth and to my liking. HELP!!!

its great, im studying wildlife and foresty conservation, and in 2 months of being enrolled im allready halfway to finishing. its fast n easy and you have 2 years to finish anyway.

Go to Penn Foster, I’m not a student there but I heard that Ashworth has some problems with their diploma.(isn’t accepted everywhere)

I was going to attend Ashworth but I did research and found Penn Foster to be the cheapest in tuition. I ended up choosing Penn Foster and I don’t regret my decision!

Yes, You can finish in less time depending on how you keep up with your studys and such. It’s at your own pace. It’s great!

Mrkinney, I’m interested in a college on Long Island, and I’m thinking of pursuing a Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical possibly Mechanical Engineering. I like to know can the Department of Education tell me of a good Engineering College on Long Island for under $5,000 to $4,000 a year? Can Department Of Education give me advice for affordable tuition colleges on Long Island for Engineering?

I started Mechanical Engineering Technology at Penn Froster College a month ago, It’s a great way of learning at home.
The course in mechanical engineering is no joke, but it allows me to study and take the test when I’m ready.

I completed high school through Penn Foster, and I completed a Career course through them.

Overall they’re good. Their tuition is good. A career school course is like between 900 and 1,600 bucks, college classes are obv. more.

The only problems I had was; Sometimes the books were wrong, and I argued with them through 3 emails telling them they’re wrong but they wouldnt buy it. (I wasnt wrong)
And their computer course isn’t up to date. It treats Windows XP as the newest Windows on the market.

@Peterbilt982476 And I was expecting it to be easier to get a job with these education completions. It didn’t, however the economy is bad so thats taking a big toll on it too.

I would recommend them if you’re doing something who’s lives don’t depend on it.
Their info is very useful. I would use them for PC repair, or Car repair or Gun smithing.
However, I wouldn’t use them to be a vet or a dental/medical assistant or something that could have a negative effect on someone’s life.

Penn Foster is great because they send you all the training materials and also give you access to your courses online as well. So for me I like it because if I’m at work and I’m at the office I can study there and then without bringing anything to work,
