Question : What does “rack up” mean here?
I wonder what does “racks up” mean in the following sentence:

It means to accumulate 
It could be replaced with incurred (if slightly reworded). It means he charges a lot to his credit cards. He uses them frequently. He routinely has charges items to his credit card.
