Question : A business system which will process my clients orders online?
Here’s the deal, I own a restaurant downtown in a busy city.

I am now looking to take my business to the next level.
I have created a website for my business, but want to give my customers the option of placing their orders online for a free home delivery. I want to create an order form which will allow my customers to provide me with their name, address, order, contact number and finally, collect their payment if they wish to pay by credit/debit card. Also, if possible I would like the system to put the customers e-mail in a database so that I can send them promotions and the latest offers.

What system / program do I need to install / use so that my request can happen? And were do I start?
If you could provide me with a specific software or suitable program i should use, i would be grateful.

The first thing you will need is a merchant account that will accept online payments. This is known as a payment gateway service (i.e. authorize.net). Its important to stay clear of companies wanting to lock you into a contract since many have hidden fees that you find about later and then your stuck with it.
The next thing you need is a order form system. You can build one with a godaddy.com account with a web site builder like website tonight.
