Question : Best book to read for online investing?
I’m about to check out a book from the library on how to make money off of Scottrade online investing. Any suggestions on the most beneficial book to get? Is Online Investing for Dummies any good? Thanks!

Scottrade is just one of any number of discount brokerages. “Online Investing” is not the issue. Just plain “Investing” is the issue. Start with “Investing For Dummies.”

Books take forever to finish reading and you only get the biased opinion of the author. Also some authors are not even investment experts, they are just good at writing. The only half decent one I might suggest is “The Wealthy Barber”.
I would instead tell to read magazines and many investment related web sites that you can find for free on the internet.
