Question : Should homeowners insurance companies be able to discriminate based on pre-existing conditions?
e.g. house burning down?
Also, please explain how it would be possible to sell a house which is on fire. I’d love to hear the details on that one.

They are discriminated. If you live in Hurricane or flood zone, you pay more.
However, you can sell your house and leave. What should you do if you got cancer and your insurance just got canceled? Die fast?
Homeowners’ insurance can be denied or canceled if representations made by homeowner are found to be mis-representations such as electrical work being done by unlicensed persons.
