My company are planning an expansion from Belfast, Northern Ireland to somewhere in Washington State and we were wanting to know, approximatly how much would it cost to set up business checking and savings accounts?

It should cost nothing. But the way to know for sure is to make a few phone calls or send e-mail to the banks in the area where you will be going.
Some banks charge a monthly fee, regardless of whether it’s personal or business. Some charge a fee if you want your checks returned to you each month. So, it just depends on what you want and which bank you use. There shouldn’t be any upfront fees to set up the account but there could be monthly fees, which shouldn’t amount to very much.
