Question : Gift for mom to help manage finances!?
I want to get a gift for my mom to help her manage her finances! She is 55 years old and is going through a rough divorce. She was used to having everything done for her, so she is completely clueless on “budgeting.” She is very stubborn and stuck in her ways, but I want to make sure she manages her money, so she doesn’t end up broke by retirement. She doesn’t work and she doesn’t plan on working, like I said she is very stubborn. I was thinking of getting some kind of gift for her to help her. I was thinking maybe Quicken software? I figured I would have to set it all up for her since she isn’t very computer savy.

Any ideas for a gift that will help her manage her finances? Something VERY easy to use.

“The Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey.

If she doesn’t follow the advice in that book, then you can get her this one next year:
