Yes, if you’re the guarantor on the card, late payments will show on your credit file.
Generally, that’s what happens with small businesses, usually large businesses don’t have personal guarantors.

Well I would say if you are the sole proprietor of the business, then yes. If the credit card has your name on it you are probably responsible for the balance and that would be a yes also. Do you pay for the credit card charges? If not I would talk to my boss if it is a company card and you don’t have a say in how it is paid. Check it out.

IF the credit card is really a business account, no it will not show up on your personal credit file. Business accounts do not report to the credit bureaus.
If you signed a personal guarantee, you will still be personally liable for the debt. Commercial creditors do not have to live by the FDCA rules since they are not consumer credit.

well you get the business credit card under the same social security number that you get a personal credit card. so the answer is quite obviously YES…..creditors are pain in the rear…if you are good to them…they raise your rate…if you pay late…they raise your rate……but the ultimate answer is yes….it will show on your credit report
