Question : Can you influence the Forex Market with enough money?
After watching Rogue Trader I have become more interested in how you can manipulate the market with huge amounts of money.

How exactly would you do this for example on the Forex Markets?

federal reserve can influence the forex market by talking the expectation of the bond. then their will by more investor selling other bonds and buy US bonds and that will appropriate US $

only the illiquid currencies with huge amounts of money, and only for a short period of time. not enough to actually make any money from it though IMHO

In theory yes, but in practice it would take many billions of dollars. Big government-sponsored banks sometimes come into the market to drive up one currency or drive down another and it’s effective for a short while but even they can’t prop up a currency forever if it’s crappy and going to fall.

Yes, if you have a massive amount of money and a tiny, illiquid currency like for example the Djibouti franc it should be pretty easy.
