How to find out all payday loans i owe money to. (up to 3 years ago)?
Question : How to find out all payday loans i owe money to. (up to 3 years ago)?
I am being harassed by collection agencies and they are not willing to give me any information about what company they work for all they want is an account number so they can draw ridiculous amounts of money the same day..
anyway.
I need to know how I can find all the companies I owe money to, they aren’t all on my credit.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Telemarketing Fraud: Watch out for…
Pressure to act immediately (“offer valid for 24 hours only”)
Refusal to send you written information
Use of scare tactics (“if you don’t…you could lose your home”)
Demands for payment by wire or courier
Demands for payment of taxes or customs fees to claim a prize
Requests for your financial account numbers even though you’re not paying for something with them
Claims that you can make lots of money working from home

Seems like asking them isn’t out of the ordinary course of business. Ask them why they won’t provide it?
Two things you can do.
1. Go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com and get your credit report for free and see what is on there.
2. Next time someone calls, tell them you dispute the debt and demand that they either cease calling you, or provide you with proof that you owe the debt, under the fair debt collections practices act. The FDCPA is a federal law that all collection agencies are required to follow. They have to give you proof of the debt within 30 days, including the original place you borrowed money.
Do NOT under any circumstances give them your bank account information. If you decide to pay them, use a check, so that you get proof you paid, and you don’t give them your bank info.
Finally – stop using payday loan places. I’m sure you figured out by now they are total ripoffs.
