Today i signed up for a debit mastercard, how does it work? Is it like a credit card, but you put money in it.

You can settle debts, borrow cash, divide bills or split expenses … The PayPal Debit Card (“Debit Card”) allows you to access your PayPal … that accept MasterCard, in an amount up to your available PayPal Account. You can use PayPal Virtual Debit Card when making online purchases anywhere MasterCard is accepted. You can withdraw PayPal money to debit MasterCard.
As long as it’s not connected to any of your banking accounts, you should use it online and you can link it to paypal. Make sure it’s reloadable or you’ll have to pay again to get another card once this one is depleted. Also, one last tip, BEWARE of who you order things from online. If you have never heard of the company before…do not buy anything from them whether you’re on the phone or online. Don’t even mouse over, let alone click on advertisements because there are a lot of really bad companies out there doing all kinds of scams that simply amount to unauthorized charges. Once you contact them, if you are able to at all, they’ll tell you that you can’t get a refund and that you didn’t read the fine print.
