Question : Ever Hear of Pre-Paid Legal Services?
About a month ago, I signed up with this company called Pre-Paid legal. They supposedly help you resolve almost any legal problem you may have. They’ve been in business for over 30 years, are top notch on the NYSE for the last 5 years and I have friends that have used the service. I’m looking to see if anyone else has used them for Legal services, Motor Vehicle issues, Trial Defense, IRS Audits or Credit Protection? I mean, I only pay $ 24 a month for the service and it does cover my whole family. I have them clearing up 2 incidents for me now. I bought something online for $ 826 and never received it and I’m also suing someone for $ 1500. So,I have them working on it for me, but I’d like to know if anyone has used them and what the final outcome was? And how long it took for resolution. we had them for 3 years, personally [and this is just my opinion] was not very happy with them, only went with them to clear up two things…..one which I thought was very simple..a letter to all the credit bureaus stating we was NOT liable for ex wife’s debts and they said that they would do BUT we still would have to pay for the letter……I was like hmmmmmmmm and I have been paying you $ ** for the past 18 months for WHAT.

But each to their own of course and if you get good results then fair enough, also did not like that the CLOSEST lawyer that dealt with this company was 4 hours drive from my area.
