Question : How do I use a credit card swipe terminal?
I’ve owned one in my store for a long time, but never once used it. I was wondering if someone can give me the detailed process on how to use the machine. My terminal model is Lip Nurit 2085. If this will do any help.. http://www.instantweb.com/g/globalcheck/product.html

Is your POS terminal online? via LAN line {regular dial up} or DSL? If you are preparing yourself to accept credit cards,debit cards gift cards you must have your terminal pre-programmed from your merchant bank.
The software must be set to your business needs by the provider {merchant bank}. Contact your financial institution and let them know you would like to activate the terminal to accept all types or selected choices {this is up to you} of cards.
It is very simple to operate credit card processing machine terminal equipment. If your merchant account services provider doesn’t give you full on technical support and training you might want to look into a new provider. The operations on a lipman nurit 2085 are very basic and stated right on the keyboard of the unit. you simply navigate the menu for either a credit or debit card transaction. Then you simply swipe your credit card and the machine does the processing for you. You will be prompt to enter the amount of the credit card transaction. Once you enter the amount of the sale you will then hit the enter button and the credit card machine terminal will dial out and process the authorization. The credit card terminal machine will print out a receipt for the customer to sign and then you can hit any button on the point of sale (POS) equipment to print out the customers copy.
