Question : Do the American people understand the full scope of the financial crisis and how bad it really is?
I was wondering why the American public are not crying out for an investigation into all the fraud surrounding the financial collapse of the economy, or are the majority just not aware of how bad things really are. Dude, this country was hi-jacked under Woodrow Wilson, when he signed the Federal Reserve Act of 1918. The Federal Reserve is NOT part of the Federal Government, it is in fact a private bank!
People don’t realize what’s going on or how bad it really is, because the swallow everything that comes through the “boob tube”!!!

unless the people make their voice heard many white collar criminals and those in high positions of power will get off scot free. but the damage to democracy will be far greater, when it is openly demonstrated that there is one law for joe public and no law for them, the excessive greed of capitalism. it astounds me that they are people still who do not understand why the federal reserve bank was created (oops what after another recession) and the polical manouvering (R Reagan/G bush) that derugulated the financial institutions, allowing them to gamble at the countries risk and the audacity to leave them carrying the tab

Most Americans don’t even understand that the IOUs we use for currency are not “dollars” or that the Federal Reserve is not government. They do, however, appear to have a good understanding of football and Dancing with The Stars. We’re doomed!
