Question : collector car insurance?
I have the chance to buy a rebuilt, restored 1952 f1 and want to use it as a daily driver, what kind of insurance will I need?

You may just have to insure it like any car with liability and full coverage as a regular car. You can check with a collector car insurance co and see but any I called on my old truck will not let you use a collector car as a daily driver you must have a car to drive daily besides your collector car. If you have another car you may be able to submit a policy app to the same company as a second car,collector car and use an agreed value in case of loss. I did this threw State Farm and it was very reasonable for full coverage……….ujn

Normal insurance companies won’t insure collector cars, because of cost of repair, and the subjective nature of replacement value
a vehicle like yours might cost 10000.00 to restore, and market value might only be 5000.00…
My Hotrod is insured through Hagerty, they will not insure a daily driver…
