Your bachelor’s degree can be in any field. A strong record in a major you enjoy will serve you better than a mediocre record in a major that someone told you was the best for preparing for law school.
During your last year of undergrad, you have to take the LSAT’s and apply for law school. Taking courses that will help is a plus, just because it helps you prepare for the type of studies you will have in law school.
But getting into law schools boil down to you GPA and LSAT scores. A GPA of 3.0 and an LSAT score of 145-150 have become the minimum requirements for admission to any law school. It is estimated that 75% to 95% of the law school admissions decision is based on these two scores.Taking a Kaplan study course for the LSATs can improve overal LSAT scores.

The top medical malpractice lawyers have both medical and law degrees. That would be ideal if you don’t mind spending around a decade in college.
At the least, you should take pre-med courses in addition to law school. You need some knowledge about medical practices before you can decide what is medical malpractice.
For a corporate lawyer, get a business degree, then go to law school.
