Question : In the state of north carolina can i get health insurance if i have a prexisting condition?
I was hurt at work so i am still working with workers comp to sort things out hopefully. Can I get health insurance even though I am hurt? Doctor gave me a cortizone shot in the shoulder and hopefullly that will help. If it doesn’t make my shoulder better then i will have to have surgery on it. Tendonosis is what the doctors called it I do believe. Can i still get health insurance?

Yes, but it will exclude coverage for that tendonosis – which means, strained tendon.

Yes. If you are denied a regular policy because of a preexisting condition and you live in North Carolina, then you can obtain special health insurance (available only to NC residents with preexisting conditions) through the “Inclusive Health plan”.
