Simply because something is run with tax money does not make it bad or inefficient, in fact there are hundreds of government run programs that work very well. Also, of course health care would, and should, be paid for by taxes. According the bill, they plan on raising taxes on all tobacco and some alcohol products, I think this is a great idea (even though I know a lot of smokers) because both alcohol and tobacco are a terrible strain on the current system.

They would raise taxes for everybody. Not just for smokers or alcoholics. Everyone’s taxes will go up.
I never said that the fact that it would be run with taxes made it inefficient. It’s the fact that it’s run by the Gov’t that does that. They are, after all, the managers of Social Security. And we all know how reliable they’ve been running that.

1. REPUBLICANS ARE EVIL. Two massive tax cuts for the VERY RICH under Bush which were NOT paid for. 2. They ran up EIGHT TRILLION OF DEBT! When Clinton left office we had a surplus (ZERO DEBT). 3. They spend A TRILLION on the Iraq war TO DATE. 4. They DON’T want to give healthcare to the citizens in the RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD under a plan that IS PAID FOR. 5. Republicans ALSO used reconcilation! 6. They perpetuate FEAR MONGERING AND SCARE TACTICS. THEY ARE EVIL AND DISGUST ME!

@ArtistaAndaluz: Well, what’s ‘wrong’ exactly{factually, that is}? Politicians taking drug corp. money? In fact, it’s well known that many politicians, Republicans in particular, do in fact, take bribes, donations, etc. from various lobbying, etc. groups; the pharma and insurance industries are just two examples.

What the hell is this video trying to prove?Obama is lying? Dude you are barking up the wrong tree with that one. I don’t think we have had a politician who has ever told the truth 100%! You know what else is not about choice, ending up in an out of network hospital even though you have your own Private Insurance! LMFAO! Think your safe? Try calling your private insurer and ask them what happens if you end up in an OUT OF NETWORK Hospital. Then get back to me and this title! LMFAO LMFAO!!!!

Do anyof these BOZOS even stop to think about the fact that the Insurance companies are the 3rd leading industry in the USA. They give about 1 in five families their income. Can you imigine the massive increase in unemployment, in home forclosures, in the need for public assistance, etc. Next, stop and think about the fact that many people worked hard to build their insurance businesses, who is the government to strip them of that just out of greed? Look at what they did to Chrysler dealers!
