Yes. They are one of the best out there. They truly give benefits to their customers. You can bet out of all the companies, USAA is last to take advantage of its clients. I’ve compared them to many others, there is no comparison.

USAA used to be for officers only they changed so that enlisted can join about 10
i have been a member of USAA for 9 years now and never had any problems with them they are always so helpful on the phone. and claims are handled VERY fast. i took my car in last week to have damage looked at (hail storm) and i had my check on Tuesday!

They are excellent. For many years it was a company for military officers only. That is why military enlisted in a lot of cases do not know who they are. I have had them for 15 years and they are great for auto, not so great on pricing for home owners depending on where your house is. Outstanding coverage and customer service.

USAA is an amazing company. We’ve had Auto insurance through them for about 10 years now. Never had a problem. The reps are laways friendly, and go out of thier way to help you. We have only had to files claims for our windshield but it’s always been fast and easy. The rates are incredible. For example, Gico wanted $ 500 every 6 months for our 2002 Honda CR-V, USAA charges us $ 272.00 every 6 months and they break it into 6 month installments so we don’t have to pay upfront.
We have renter’s insurance through them and they offer great coverage. They even have a computer policy that covers your computer if it gets virus or crashes! They will have your computer fixed or pay for a new computer if it can’t be fixed with no deductile!
We recently switched to USAA for banking. They have deposit at home where you ca just scan any check you want to deposit with a scanner and PRESTO the money is in your account immediately. Also USAA pay ONE DAY EARLIER that other places. So when the military gets paid on the 15th, USAA pays ont he 14th. They give you the money when the deposit is pending not when it’s actually deposited. Cool, huh? They also give interest on your checking and saving accounts with no minimum balance.
USAA also handle investments, college funds, money markets, you get discounts on rental cars, travel, they have people that can get you a good deal on a new car (they haggle for you) and great loan rates regardless of your credit score., and a million other things! I’m sure you’ve already been to the website at http://www.usaa.com it’s easy to use and has all the info you could ever need.
I’ve never met a military person that didn’t have USAA for auto insurance. Everyone knows it’s cheaper and it’s designed for the military. -

I have nothing but great things to say about USAA. I have my auto and home owner’s insurance and my bank and daughter’s college account with them. They are always helpful and just a pleasure to deal with. However, for some people in the military, USAA is actually more expensive for them, depending on their situtations.

USAA insures my vehicles, and the only reason that I no longer have a bank account with them is that I had too many.
Plus side about USAA auto insurance is that if you are stationed overseas, then all your driving experience overseas can/will be brought back to the states with you. This lowers your insurance rates. If you don’t have either USAA or Geico, then you have “unrated” driving time, and that brings you insurance up.
Would I recommend USAA? In a heartbeat.

I love USAA their credit cards are amazing and it is a benefit to be with USAA. The prices are a little pricy but you get what you pay for which is excellent coverage and auto insurance. Now I would choose Geico over them just because of the lower prices and I have had accidents (my fault) with both insurance companies, but USAA overall is the most reliable..
Again if your strapped for money go with Geico but USAA is a good choice for anyone. I reccommend applying for a credit card under their company!! Good luck

When we pcs’d to Germany we had to change our auto insurance and USAA was one of 2 that would offer us insurance (besides the ones that will in Germany,I mean US based insurance companies). We have stayed with them since. Now we have both our cars insured with them, renters insurance, and our kids saving college plans through them.
They are not only good with families but with military families in general. They support so many functions for military spouses that they really should be commended.
They are great.
