What happens in the state of Massachusetts if you get pulled over and have no insurance but there is insurance on the car and I’m 17 years of age.

If you aren’t an insured driver to be driving the car, you get your license suspended. And a hefty fine. And since you can’t drive the car back, they’ll likely impound it.

However, if there’s insurance on the car, and you have authorization to drive it, you should be fine.

So, make sure your name is on someone’s insurance, and carry the insurance card for that.
