Question : Do debt counselling companies help with collection agencies as well?
you know the non profit places ppl can call to help them. They can usually talk to the credit card companies. Can they talk to the collection agencies as well?

They tend to work best with the original creditors. Collection agencies tend to want a fast, up front settlement rather than small payments over several years…that doesn’t mean that you should not try.
