Question : Please Help! Does any one know if there is an agency set up to oversee merchant service providers?
I have this Merchant services company (First Data) that I contacted for credit card processing fees trying to bill me now for there services. I never signed anything with them and when I called them to find out what their problem was I was told that they have my IP address and that was as good as signed contract. If I want to cancel the 1 yr contract it will cost me $ $ $ .

You should certainly contact the BBB but usually there is a clause that you have 45 days to change your mind about the contract. That’s pretty standard in the industry.
