We don’t give anywhere near $ 500 billion in “foreign aid” per year. That’s insane. Where did you come up with such a bizarre figure? Are you including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan or something? Obviously, THOSE should be ended – but instead, Republicans want an expensive “surge” into Afghanistan.
