my laptop isnt from 1998 so it doesn’t fit those monster cardbus cards ![]()
So my built in wireless card is cool and all but i like external antennas for when im auditing security. I found a great orinoco card but tis cardbus, any suggestions on a expresscard to cardbus adapter that will work flawlessy and just recognize the wireless card a a cardbus. no software installation required?

I, too, have been waiting for these adapters to become much cheaper, but it just hasn’t really happened. (about $ 30 in 3 months).

I too, have an Orinoco Gold PCMCIA card, which I bought just a month before my new Rock Xtreme 770, and alas, I have not used it since. The external antennas just cannot be beaten, and whilst I was in Turin on holiday recently, I had to have the dam laptop on the hotel window, which would never have been the case had I the ability to use my Orinoco.
