not many direct connections with respect to curricula, but the finance majors are not generally known for their writing skills, the exception could work in your favor. If you can learn to communicate what you in terms that no “numbers” people can understand them doing what you really invaluable for many companies.

A minor cannot legally sign a contract so no matter what checking account he opens, he’s going to need a parent on the account too.
If banks let 15 year olds open checking accounts and they bounced checks, who would be liable? All banks that I know of, require a parent to also be a signature on the account.

if those are your three choices than definitely accounting for a major, finding a job with an accounting degree will be a walk in the park compared to marketing and HR…everyone and their mom gets degrees in those. as far as a minor, it doesn’t really matter.

I think it depends on whether you actually see yourself being a financial planner. It seems like it requires a lot of sales, and while they make a great salary, they also have a high failure rate. I think if you see yourself more likely to go the corporate path, a economics minor would be more impressive on your resume.
