My ex was a signer on my Bank of America acct, I attempted to remove him after our separation but was told I would have to completely close the acct and reopen a new one to ensure he could not make any transactions on the acct. Because of all the automatic payments and my direct deposit I choose not to close the acct instead just removed him as an authorized signer (meaning he could no longer WALK into the bank and with drawl money or make changes to the acct), but he still could use HIS debit card or use the acct info for online payments or purchases. Recently a third party check was deposited via ATM into the acct, the check was endorsed only by the so called third party. The bank accepted the deposit but then imminently reversed the credit to my acct and is now in the process of closing the acct because of the suspicious activity. My acct was overdrawn when the check was deposited so the only debits made on the acct while the check was technically posted was overdraft charges. Am I going to face fraud charges or legal problems since my name is the only name listed on the acct? The bank did say that the third party person would need to come into the bank and sign a form stating I had their permission to deposit the check, but I don’t know who the third party person is and my ex is now no where to be found. Please let me know why my account is closed and if I am going to be in trouble for fraud!?

You should have closed the account like they told you. Instead, for the sake of *convenience* you basically let this guy have access to your account and now you are going to pay the price for him doing something illegal.
If your account is closed, you will probably be put on ChexSystems and will not be able to get a bank account for 5 years due to this.
Since you have no recourse (can’t find the ex, don’t know the 3rd party) you are stuck. The bank has no way of knowing that you had nothing to do with this check or the fraud that the bank feels was perpetrated on them.

i have developed a financial software in Visual Basic 6. There are around 70 reports. I have used Crystal Reports8 for generating reports. Now i want to market the software. But i found crystal
report as very expensive for licensing. Can you suggest me a Similar Reporting Tool at lower rates . Or any Open Source solution.
I have used Ms Access as the database. I have plans to use Ms Sql in future as backend.

One thing that comes to my mind is that your boss’ interests of antique cars, space & planets may not necessarily be the Martha Stewart type of a party. Meaning, Martha Stewart tends to guide her parties to a more formal side, and for a retirement party, it shoudl be more relaxed and informal.
Have you checked out Party City or a local party store? There are retirement decorations and paper goods there-plates, cups, napkins, etc. I would stick to a classic car theme because that is probably more fun to decorate. Get a bunch of cheap posters off of www.posters.com of all kinds of antique cars to help decorate. Then the boss can take the posters home, perhaps frame some of them. Check your local bakery for a car cake theme, and NOT the movie CARS. Make the menu simple. Have the local deli prepare deli trays of meats and cheeses so guests can prepare their own sandwiches. Include the usual lettuce, tomato, mayo, cole slaw, potato salad, etc. If your boss is older (assumingly he is since he is retiring) try to play the ‘oldies’ music from his era-most likely the 50′ & 60′s. Classic car & driving tunes. At Toys R Us and KB Toys you can find models and jigsaw puzzles of cars. Pick up a few of them and maybe some of the guests would be inclined to tackle a model or a puzzle set up on a few card tables. There are lots of documentaries about classic cars from the History or Discovery Channels, and similar networks. If you can acquire a few, throw them on a continuous loop for guests to watch in the lobby or somewhere in a smaller area than the main party hall.
