Some of the people were having hard luck due to job loss and medical bills, others were just super spenders who bought things on credit without looking at the cost.

Apparently, the Democrats including Barack Obama, have every intention to put the country so deeply in debt that they can justify seizing 401K and IRA retirement accounts.
